Parliament’s Diary

When Parliament resumed at 2.30 p.m. yesterday, after having sat until 1.50 a.m., a bill containing an amendment to the Finance (No. 2) Bill was introduced and read a first time. The Supplementary Estimates were also tabled. Ministers answered 12 questions. Second readings were accorded the Tarawera Forest Bill, the Education Amendment Bill, the Petroleum Amendment Bill, the Cinematograph Films Amendment Bill, the Customs Amendment Bill, the Motor Vehicle Dealers Amendment Bill, the Law Practitioners Amendment Bill, the Hauraki Gulf Maritime Park Bill.
