Tobin Bronze

Going

(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) MELBOURNE.

Tobin Bronze will go to America for the Washington International.

Arrangements have been made for him to leave by air on Thursday. The trip is expected to cost about $30,000. The late decision to get Tobin Bronze away in time for next Saturday week’s International, was made after his part-owner Mr W. Breliant conferred with the Laurel Race Club president, Mr J. Shapiro during the week-end. Mr Shapiro assured Mr Breliant that the Washington club would meet some of the cost of transporting Tobin Bronze if the horse started in the International.

The bloodstock firm, Wright Stephenson, began construction of a special travelling stall for Tobin Bronze yesterday.
