The outstanding performance was that at Country Girl which ran a mile In Imln 48sec, Lakin, Imin ilsoc far her six and 39 2-Seec for the final three furlongs. Automaton worked in her vary best style, clocking Imin 47 4-seee for the last mile of about nine furlongs and a half. Mln Flicka, now right at peak, strode effortlessly over six furlongs in imin ISsec with her stablemate. Talavera. She bad Talavera working hard at the end of their last three in 381 tec.
Chapel Belle and General Myth clocked the same time. Imin ISsec, in their run over six furlongs. General Myth appeared to be feeling the strain a Title at the end of the last three in which Urey slowed to dock Olsec.
