AUCKLAND. Willie Mac’s creditable fifth off 24 yards in the Waipa Challenge Stakes last week, his first race of the season, indicated that he was close to top form for the $2OOO New Zealand Sires’ Produce Stakes at Te Awamutu tomorrow.
Dover Eden will have a big following in the Te Awamutu Trotting Cup. the first leg of the T A B. double.. She finished powerfully for a good win on the first day when she was having only her second race of the season. The weather looks likely to stay fine and the track should be fast.
