Oscar Wilde’s Son Dead

Mr Vyvyan Holland, younger son of the Victorian dramatist, Oscar Wilde, died in London on Tuesday, aged 80.
Mr Holland was an authority on wine and one of the founder’s of Britain’s Wine and Food Society. His name was changed to Holland, an old family name on his mother’s side, when Oscar Wilde was gaoled for homosexuality in 1895.
