Jury Service For Women

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, Oct. 11. New South Wales women will soon be liable for jury service unless they state specifically that they wish to be exempt, it was decided yesterday by the New South Wales Cabinet. The Government plans legislation to reverse the present position, where women do not serve on juries unless they apply for inclusion on the jury lists.
