Converted Car Stopped

A car unlawfully taken in Greymouth on Tuesday night was stopped in Marshland Road yesterday morning and two youths in it were arrested. Six police and Transport Department vehicles were used in the- search. At 7.45 am. yesterday Transport Department officers were notified that the car was missing, and soon afterwards Traffic Officer M. Fuller, with a microwave unit near Belfast saw the car. He could not give immediate chase, so called for assistance. Four police vehicle* and a Transport Department

motor-cyclist 'went tn the area. Traffic Officer Fuller later saw the car in Belfast Road, heading for Marshland Road. He gave chase and stopped the youths. The police arrived soon afterwards. The youths, one 15 and the other 16, will appear in the Children’s Court.
