SYDNEY

B.H.P. featured with a rise of 90c to 1495 in active trading. Mount Isa stood out among the barrier stocks with a 12 cent rise to 432 c. and mining investor, Loloma Mining Corporation, was 20c firmer at 250 c. Mary Kathteen Uranium remained unchanged at 600 c although at one stage the shares were selling up to as high as 620 c. MELBOURNE

B.H.P. finished 90c higher at 1495 c in heavy trading yesterday. Oils were firm, Santos up 20c to 210 c and Magellan, which has leases adjoining Esso-B.H.P areas, rose 13c to 168 c. Oilsearch, however, dropped 5c to 44c. Minings moved variably, but sharp losses were recorded in Western Mining, down 80c to 2690 c, and Hampton down 40c to 620 c
