Six-Nation Link To Protest At War
(N Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, Oct 10. British Campaigners for Peace in Vietnam are planning a six - nation telephone link as part, of an international week-end of protest on October 21 22.
. In London, the campaign will start with a torchlight procession through the city organised by the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament and the British Council for Peace in Vietnam. Other campaigners will join a rally in central London where loudspeakers will
relay telephone calls to fel-low-demonstrators in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Paris, Rome and Washington. The six centres will exchange details of their activities and a speech from Washington will form the final item on the agenda. Another anti-Vietnam dei monstration is planned for 1 October 16 when members of t “Stop It” an association of i Americans temporarily resi--1 dent in Britain will publicly j burn their draft cards. The organisers say they I hope to hold their demonstra- • tion outside the American I Embassy.
