Girl Nude On TV
(N. Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) HILVERSUM (Holland), October 11.
Phil Bloom, a 21-year-old photographer’s model, put down the newspaper she was holding—and revealed to the cameras of the Dutch Protestant Radio and Television Corporation that she was naked. The revelation of her charms on the teen-age programme, “Hoopla,” included a close-up of her body and brought press comments today ranging from “good fun” to “an all-time lbw in bad taste.”
Some reports said the Government Commissioner for Television had had some scruples about allowing the scene to be screened—not because she was nude but because the newspaper she was holding prominently displayed an advertisement for a wellknown make of car.
