A Huntly man was killed when a front-end loader he was driving overturned in a quarry about 11.30 on Saturday morning. He was
Frederick Hail Lapwood, aged 53, married. Mr Lapwood was pinned beneath the loader during
metal-loading operations at the Roose Shipping Company quarry, south of Huntly.
