LEYLAND’S SUCCESS
The Leyland Motor Corporation has captured a record share of the United Kingdom market for heavy commercial vehicles. Figures just released show that 37.5 per cent of heavy trucks registered In March were products of the group. The company’s car business Is booming too. In March, Standard-Triumph's share of the home market jumped to 8 per cent—the highest for six years. This means that together with Rover (2.6 per cent), the Leyland Motor Corporation currently holds 10.6 per cent of the United Kingdom car market
