CN.Z. Pre«, Assn.—CopvftyMi BIRMINGHAM. R. Surti, the Indian left-handed all-rounder, was taken to hospital with a head wound after being injured at net practice on Wednesday the day before the cricket test with England. A doctor ruled him unable to play in the test
Surti attempted to hook a bumper from S. Mohol. The mishap is the latest in a long list of injuries which have constantly affected Indian team selections throughout the season. Surti was likely to open the innings with F. Engineer.
