Move Against Ojukwu

LAGOS, July 2.
Nigeria’s military Government yesterday stripped the secessionist Eastern leader, Lieutenant-Colonel Odumegwu Ojukwu, of his office and military rank and discharged him from the Nigerian Army with ignominy. The Government of Nigeria’s federal army ruler, Major-General Hakubu Gowon, said it regarded Ojukwu as having declared war against the federation.
