FREIGHTER DELAYED

WELLINGTON, July 3.
A spokesman for the Union Steamship Company said in Wellington today that the freighter, Wairata, had had an engine breakdown after leaving Bombay on its way to Cochin, India. The engine was repaired by the crew, said the spokesman, and the ship continued to Cochin.
