The former New Zealandbred galloper, Del Charro, which failed when equal favourite in the Brisbane Cup, , has been scratched from the Doomben Cup to be run on Saturday week. I New Zealand-bred horses ' occupy four of the first five , quotes in the early market for the 11 furlong cup. Tobermory, by Summertime, is 4/1 favourite, with : Winfreux on the next line at 5/1, followed by the New Zealand-breds Peppino (6/1) and Farmer’s Daughter (7/1). The Stradbroke Handicap winner, Mister Hush, has 1 firmed to 3/1 favouritism for i the Doomben Ten Thousand I which will be run on Saturday. The Sydney sprinter, Nebo ’ Road is second favourite at i 4/1, with Marmion and Prince i Max on the next line at 6/1. ;
