Parliament’s Diary
The Budget debate started officially last night with speeches by the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Kirk) and the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake). Each spoke for an hour. The other speakers were Mr N. V. Douglas (Lab., Auckland Central' and the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Taiboys).
