Country Team
The Canterbury Country women's basketball team wiit have its first match against a national side when it plays South Africa at Canterbury Court on July 29.
The team will compete also in the third grade invitation tournament at Rangiora on August 30, 31, and September 1. The team is:—J. Ross, B. Horgan. P. Dunnill, vice-captain. G. Cossar. A. Drummond, M. Manning, captain (North Canterbury): V. Mugford (Ellesmere): B Gilbert (Lincoln)) H. Pooley (Hurunui).
