NEWMAN TO TESTS
T. Moore In Irish Pack (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—-Copyright) SYDNEY. Ireland has included one new cap for its Rugby test against Australia at Sydney on Saturday. He is the 24-year-old, 16st loose forward, T. Moore, who becomes a dual Irish international, having previously represented his country in basketball. He clinched his selection for the test with an impressive game in Ireland’s 31-11 defeat of New South Wales Country on Tuesday. The team is:
T. Kiernan: A. Duggan. J. Walsh, B. Bresnihan, P. McGrath; C M. Gibson, B. Sherry: S Hutton, K. Kennedy, P. O'Callaghan, N. Malloy, W. Mcßride, K. Goodall, T. Moore, and M. Doyle.
