Burglaries Reported
A surveyor’s level, electric razors and other goods worth £l6l were stolen when the premises of J. L. Davis, Son, Ogilvie and Associates, 179 Cambridge terrace, were broken into on Tuesday night
The theft of binoculars, watches, and projectors, worth £l5O, from the Waikari Pharmacy, was reported to the police yesterday. A floor polisher, worth £5O, was reported stolen from a vacant office at 175 Cambridge terrace. Cash and brooches worth £B6 were stolen from an unlocked car parked in the drive of a house in Rugby street
A hydraulic jack and wheel puller, worth £45, were reported stolen yesterday, from Andersons Motordrome, 45 Riccarton road. The sum of £lO was stolen when the premises of the General Foods Corporation (N.Z.)', Ltd, 100 Durham street, was broken into. A hair dryer and household goods, valued at £l3 6s, were stolen when a house in Lichfield street was broken into.
