Mosgiel Profit Edges Down

WELLINGTON, April'l9. . Mosgiel Woollens, Ltd., Dunedin, reports that sales for the six months to April 6 have exceeded those for the same period last year, resulting in an increase in gross profit. “Higher provisions for depreciation, plus increased charges for interest, have resulted in a small reduction in net profit. “The forward order position is sound, and the directors anticipate satisfactory results for the company’s year ending on October 6 next.”
