Jumped From 25ft Window

(N.Z. Press Association)

AUCKLAND, April 14. A thief jumped 25ft from a two-storey house in Mount Eden last night after a 26-year-old single woman woke to find him with his hand on her leg. She screamed, waking another girl sleeping in the room, and the thief, who was barefooted, jumped through a window on to a concrete drive, taking £25 from a purse. '

Police later searched with a tracker dog, but failed to find the man.
