Two Injured In Collisions

Two persons suffered fairly serious head injuries in collisions between cycles and motor-vehicles yesterday. John Dennis Hocken, of 297 Westminster street, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital after a car and a cycle collided at the intersection of Cashel and Montreal streets about 5.10 p.m. His condition last night was satisfactory. After a collision between a van and a cycle at the intersection of Bealey avenue and Caledonian road about 8.10 a.m Robin Vivian Jordan, of 31 Edgeware road, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital. Her condition last night was satisfactory.
