FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT Situation.—A weak cold front is moving slowly northwards over central New Zealand as a ridge of high pressure advances on to the South Island. Forecast: Canterbury, Marlborough and Nelson.—Light to moderate southerly to easterly winds; cloudy and rather cool with some scattered light rain. Buller and Westland.—Light variable winds; some areas of fog, low cloud and drizzle at first, but a clearance spreading from the south; moderate temperatures. Outlook.—Some eloud.
