HUMPHREY IN BONN

The United States VicePresident, Mr Hubert Humphrey, began talks yesterday with 30 heads of United States diplomatic missions in East and West Europe and Canada. They are discussing America’s role in Europe. Earlier, 80 guitar-playing youngsters singing moral rearmament hymns welcomed Mr Humphrey when he arrived at the airport from Holland. He is on a European tour to convince Heads of State that America is not ignoring Europe in its pre-occupation with the Vietnam war.
