Mr C. W. Hamann, of ■ Messrs Campbell, Hamann, land Partners, Christchurch, has been presented with the first design award of the consulting engineers’ division of the New Zealand Institution lof Engineers for the firm’s design of the Millard stand !at Athletic Park, Wellington. Mr W. B. Campbell, first assistant master of Kapiti College, has been appointed principal of the Darfleld High School. Mr Campbell, who is married with five children, served in the Fleet Air Arm towards the end of the war, and has taught at Wellington College and Otorohanga College. He is expected to take up his position at the beginning of the second term. The Rev. K. Ihaka, pastor of the Wellington Maori Pastorate since 1958, has been appointed Maori missionary to Auckland. He will take up his new position in June.—(PA.)
