Angus Council Visit
Members of the council of the New Zealand Aberdeen Angus Cattle Breeders’ Association will visit some properties in South Canterbury on their tour this year, which will be to mainly the Otago ward of the association.
The council party of about 16 headed by the president, Mr C. Nairn, will be accompanied by the New Zealand managers of stud stock firms. The party will fly from Christchurch to Mount Cook on Sunday, April 2, and will visit Glentanner and Glen Lyon stations in the Mackenzie Country the following day before proceeding to Wanaka, Queenstown, Gore, and ending up at Dunedin at the end of the week. Studs, stations, and commercial properties will be visited along the way. Local members will join the council party during the tour.
