Wheat Crop
The biometrics section of the Department of Agriculture estimates that the wheat crop this season will exceed 11m bushels. The yield per acre is estimated to be 51 bushels compared with 53 last seasoh and from 216,000 acres threshed compared with 196,000 last year. This is expected to produce 11.1 m. bushels compared with 10.4 m. last season. a year.
