Two Thrown From Car

Mr Gary Karaitane, of 20 Woodchester avenue, was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital last evening with bead, leg and suspected internal injuries after he and Mr J. Miller, of the same address, had been thrown from a car at Rolleston at 6.30 p.m. The car rolled over at the S-bend a mile south of Rolleston after it had skidded in shingle on the side of the road. Mr Miller was treated for head and leg injuries, and discharged. Late last night Mr Karaitane's condition was described as fair.
