Disqualified Himself
A 10-year-old Christchurch boy has swum himself out of the Junior Olympics because of his ability in all the strokes. Brent Lewis, of the Spreydon club, won un-der-12 titles in all strokes at the Canterbury championships in January. But the rules of the Junior Olympics forbid a swimmer to compete in a stroke In which he is a champion. Lewis has taken a sensible stand on the matter. He offered his services as an official for the first session of the meeting at Woolston Park on Saturday—and he was accepted.
