Explanation By Visitor

The Rev. Erwin Vogt, superintendent of the Adelaide Methodist Central Mission, will arrive in Christchurch next week to meet members of the Central Mission board of management and members of the social service committee. They will discuss the task of a city mission in the modern city. Mr Vogt will also meet officials of the Durham Street Methodist Church.

Mr Vogt will speak at another meeting about the ministry of the Adelaide Central Mission which administers an eventide home settlement for 600 aged people, three radio stations, a children's home, a colony for alcoholics, a “life-line” service, and an extensive programme of services and meetings at the Central Mission in the heart of the city.
