(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, February 28. Gale-force winds, with gusts up to 80 miles an hour, and torrential rains lashed Britain today. Traffic was brought to a standstill, trees were blown down and roads blocked and flooded. Scotland, England, and South Wales all reported flooding as rivers and streams burst their banks.
