N.Z. Horses In Sydney
(Special Crspdt. N.Z.P.A.) SYDNEY. Follower® of New Zealand-bred horses have a good chance of a double tomorrow with the three-year old filly, What Fun, in the one-mile Novice Handicap, and the five-year-old Sun Prince, in the Adam Lindsay Gordon Handicap. What Fun, trained by J. P. Hayes, formerly of Te Awamutu, is a class filly returning to racing after her last-start second to Star Belle in the Flemington Oaka on November 3. What Fun te on the second line behind Cobber In the early market. - Sun Prince te favourite for the Gordon Handicap and ns fancied to improve on his second to Wlldarra at RosehiU recently. The Sabaean gelding face® a tough field, including Plenty, Carnival, Gloves Off, Christmas Day, and Country Star, which has won his last six races. Also in the KendaM Handicap te the New Zealand-bred A.J.C. Derby Winner, El Gordo, which i will be having hits first race since falling in the Melbourne i Cup. El Gordo te likely to find the ■ distance too short, but there will be a lot of interest in his performance. / i
