Privy Council Invitation

WELLINGTON, Feb. 23.

The President of the Court of Appeal, Sir Alfred North, will leave for England next month where he will sit as a member of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council. This is in response to an invitation by the Lord Chancellor of England. Sir Alfred North will sit as a member of the committee, which hears appeals from the courts in Commonwealth countries until tiie end of July. During his absence the second member of the Court of Appeal, Mr Justice Turner will act as President of the Court
