BRADFORD MISSION

WELLINGTON, Feb. 7.

One of Britain’s leading designers of women’s fashion fabrics will lead a 16-man trade mission from Bradford to visit New Zealand from February 22 to March 15. The mission consists of representatives of the National Wool Textile Export Corporation. The leader, Mr E. Glendinning, heads a Bradford textile firm which supplies materials to most of the leading fashion houses In Paris and London.

The Governor-General, Sir Bernard Fergusson, took up residence in Government House, Auckland, yesterday for the last time before returning to Britain. He will stay until May.—(PA.)
