LEAKING GAS TRAPS MEN

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) MELBOURNE, Jan. 23. Two men accidentally trapped for three hours inside a refrigeration chamber at the River Murray township of Euston yesterday were fatally poisoned by leaking gas. They were storing goat carcases in the chiller when a gust of wind slammed the door shut. In their efforts to break out, a small pipe was broken and refrigeration gas leaked into the chamber. The two men were found unconscious in the chiller and died five hours later in hospital.
