FALL FROM GANGWAY

A seaman who fell into the sea from the gangway of the New Zealand Shipping Company’s vessel Ruahine at Lyttelton about 6.30 p.m. on Friday was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital suffering from head injuries and the inhalation of water. He is Donald Morrison, of Stornoway, in the Isle of Lewis, Scotland. His condition was reported last evening as fairly comfortable.
