(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Three betting records were established on Saturday. Investments with the T.A.B. were £623,275 15s, a record. The £387,075 5s invested off-course on the Wellington meeting was a record for a day’s racing. On-course betting at Wellington, £304,421 10s, ' was the highest in the history of the club. Saturday’s T.A.B. betting was made up of £265,159 10s in win and place betting and £358,116 5s in doubles. The T.A.B. turn over on the corresponding day last year was £476,072 ss.
