(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Impressive handling of the boisterous conditions by the Canterbury yachtsman, •M. Wilson, brought him victory in the first race of the National P ciass yachting championships at Evans Bay yesterday. Wilson led for most of the journey and finished a minute and a half ahead of the next craft. 1. Williams (Bay of Plenty), sailing Bolero, snatched second place ahead of G. Berleme (Auckland), R. Ward (Northland), and R. Duckworth (Hawke’s Bay). Only a minute separated the four. Auckland has held the cup for six years. The five-race eerie* will continue today.
