DISCUSSION SOUGHT
Shortage Of Staff
The North Canterbury Hospital Board wants a full discussion at the next Hospital Boards’ Association conference on the shortage of junior medical staff. The association had summarised a recent meeting of representatives of various organisations to consider proposals to alleviate the shortage, it was reported at yesterday’s board meeting. Further investigations were being made, and would be the subject of a later report.
