He is shown leading the Wellington competitor, P. Marks, in a recent inter-club event at Rugby Park. Last Saturday Hamilton clipped 19sec off his best time for three miles during the triangular meeting against Otago and Southland, finishing second behind another Canterbury athlete, B. Jones, in 14min 15sec.
