Fight To Be Indoors

Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON.

The Wellington Town Hall, not Athletic Park, will be the venue for the British Empire light-weight boxing title fight between the Jamaican. B. Grant, and M. Santos, of New Zealand. The chairman of the Wellington Boxing Association, Mr B. F. O’Brien, announced yesterday that the fight would be held on March 15 indoors In case of bad weather. The bout was originally set down for Athletic Park on March 9. “Grant has a very tight schedule of engagements which would make a postponement out of the question, and this has decided the association not to risk all on the weather,” said Mr O’Brien.
