Riccarton Jockey
The Riccarton jockey, D. N. Hadfield, will ride Bandon in the Waikato Gold Cup tomorrow, and will return to ride on the first day of the Greymouth meeting on Monday. Hadfield’s Greymouth mounts are General Gilbert, Rae’s Hope, Silver Princess, Khush Mahal, Mister Joe, Doraldo and Kummel.
The leading jockey, R. J. Skelton, and his brother W. D. Skelton will also be at Omoto for the first day of the Greymouth meeting, when a presentation will be made to their parents. R. J. Skelton has been engaged for Ursinus, Dark Chick, Omasong, Coronna Queen, and William Robert. W. D. Skelton will ride Allegretto, Ibn (Omoto Hack), Red Treasure, Anasiwa, Jester Jinks. Miloutin, Doctor Snoddy and Wai-ike. Other Greymouth riding engagements include: E. G. Low: Cindy Maria, Vivian Robe, Debbie Marie, Sir Limond, Ibn, Palamette, Orissa, Prince Calan. G. W. Mein: Clipper, Totara Lad, Romayne. R. K. Moir: Glenmist.
