fN.Z.P.A.-Reuter— Cdpyriflht) LONDON, November 2. Britain’s reserves of gold and other convertible currencies rose by £2om in October, and now stand at £1,149m, the highest they have been since June, the Finance Ministry announced today. The gain in October was made after repayment of money borrowed earlier to save sterling when it was under pressure. This means that the gain to the Exchequer through overseas trading and other income last month, was even greater than £2om.
