Detective-Sergeant R. L. Butler of Wellington, has been elected president of the Police Association. Mr D. C. Lee has been elected secretary. He succeeds Mr J. Meltzer, who has retired, but will be a consultant to the association for another year.—(PA.) Mr L. V. Etwell, of Christchurch, has been elected president of the newly-formed Road Carriers’ Association.—(P.A.)
