Locomotive Converted

(N.Z. Press Association) NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept 28. A diesel locomotive was converted at Stratford tonight and taken for a short ride before crashing into a railway waggon and another locomotive. Minor damage was caused. The engine, which had been left in the locomotive sheds, was started up and reversed by the joy rider. Stratford police are investigating.
