FOAL’S DAM DESTROYED
Foster Mother Needed A foster mother Is urgently needed for a filly foaled at the Strathconan Stud, at Washdyke, yesterday. The filly’s dam, Cherry Blossom 11, had to be destroyed after she had badly injured a stifle. She got down and could not get up again, but the stud staff managed to take the live filly from her. The studmaster, Mr W. A. Gran , said last evening that the filly, a half-sister to No Smoke, was being bottle-fed.
