Ferry On Rocks
GV Z Press Association! AUCKLAND, Sept. 19. The Kawau-Sandspit launch ferry Island Princess went aground on rocks at the foot of Lawton Peninsula, Kawau, this morning. A launch took the three passengers back to the sandspit. Two launches made an unsuccessful attempt to tow the ferry off the rocks
The launch ferry is believed to have been undamaged.
