Use Wanted In Auckland “The Press" Special Service AUCKLAND, Sept. 19. The Auckland hydatids committee has applied to the National Hydatids Council for permission to use bunamldine. a new non-purging antihydatid drug, for dog dosing at Auckland. The Mount Rosklll Borough Council delegate on the committee, Mr A. H. Woodward, told the council that the drug was at present being tested at Dunedin. “It is reputed to be 100 per cent effective against hydatids,” he said. Bunamidine was taken in pill form and did away with the necessity for dogs to be purged. The drug would greatly facilitate dog dosing.
