RAIDS IN DJAKARTA

(N.Z.P.A -Reuter—Copyright) DJAKARTA Sept. 19. A number of people have been arrested and hundreds of firearms seized in a twoday army swoop against suspected underground Communists in Djakarta. Details of the operation were disclosed today by the Djakarta garrison chief of staff, Brigadier-General Sutopo Juwono. He warned the city’s three and a half million citizens to be on the alert for Communist agitation a« the days draw near to October I—the anniversary of last year’s attempted Communist coup.
